Dr. A.K. Sterling is a highly accomplished speaker, consultant, and educator with expertise in spoken word and public speaking. With a strong background in English composition, African-American literature, and rhetoric, Dr. Sterling is a sought-after expert in recognition and protest strategies. Having taught at the university and community college level for over a decade, he is passionate about teaching composition, literature, film, and critical thought alongside Black feminist theory. Driven by a commitment to empowerment, Dr. Sterling advocates for using love as a source of empowerment when addressing issues of sex, race, and class. Through captivating spoken word performances and consultancy work, he navigates complex issues with grace and clarity. With extensive education and a dedication to positive change, Dr. A.K.
