With a strong background in English composition, African-American literature, and rhetoric, Dr. Sterling is a sought-after expert in recognition and protest strategies. Having taught at the university and community college level for over a decade, he is passionate about teaching composition, literature, film, and critical thought alongside Black feminist theory. Driven by a commitment to empowerment, Dr. Sterling advocates for using love as a source of empowerment when addressing issues of sex, race, and class.
