JUSTICE AJANI
Hi, my name is Justice. I began writing poems because I was inspired by my parents (mommy mostly!) and other family members, especially my Uncle Clint, also known as October Sixteen (check him out, he's dope). I've been reciting poems since I was 6 years old, thanks to Pastor Jeremiah Green, who recognized a gift in me at the time that I hadn’t yet recognized in myself. The first poem I recited was by Tupac Shakur "The Rose That Grew from Concrete," however, I started composing my own poems at 8.

Currently, I just finished up a four-poem EP and book. My grandfather, after whom I was named, was both a Black Panther and a poet before becoming a preacher. As a matter of fact, both of my grandfathers were/are preachers, one grandmother a writer and orator, and the other grandmother a motivator.
I take pride in continuing their tradition, as well as that of my parents, who are also poets. My father has been helping me to tap into my creativity and launch my public speaking business. My mom, who helps me perfect my performances, helped finance a small studio for me and now I'm learning how to record my poems too.

I thoroughly enjoy performing and bringing joy to people, as well as offering important topics. My performances cover a range of subjects, including emotional maturity, Blackness, personal affirmations, and giving glory to God!
